The countryside location is breathtaking, and the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully furnished. Breakfast, featuring fantastic croissants and eggs, was a highlight, although 9:30 AM last orders can be tough, especially on a lazy Sunday. Friendly staff made our stay enjoyable, and the extra blankets provided were a nice touch.

Stunning views and exceptional dining experiences
We spent three nights here and found it to be a hidden gem! The stunning sea views from our room were breathtaking, and the gardens provided a peaceful retreat. Dining in the evening was a highlight, with delicious fresh seafood that was expertly prepared. The staff were attentive and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. it would be beneficial if the hotel improved the signage for easier navigation around the property.

The food was fantastic, especially the evening meals with delicious puddings. Great location near the beach and impeccably clean vibes all around. My stay was a breath of fresh coastal air!
A cheeky critique, navigating those narrow roads might give less mobile folks a bit of a workout, and the 9:30pm dining time cutoff felt a tad early. Still, it didn’t dampen the shine of my stay!

Charming spot with fab views
We spent a night here and it was super relaxing! Our room had stunning sea views, and breakfast was a real treat. The staff were all super nice, and they managed to squeeze us in for dinner even though they were packed. Just be careful on those steep stairs, they’re a bit tricky.

Stunning sea views from the room really enhance the experience, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The historic character of the building adds charm, especially when enjoyed from the outdoor seating areas overlooking the garden.
Accessibility is a bit challenging due to the steep and narrow stairs, which could pose a problem for those with mobility issues. The decor, while charming, feels somewhat tired and could benefit from a refresh in places. the breakfast timing is rather strict, with only a one-hour window to dine.

We had a fantastic stay with our two kids. The delicious breakfast served with amazing sea views set a lovely tone for our trip. We explored Abbotsbury Children's Farm nearby, and the kids had a blast interacting with all the animals. It's a perfect family getaway!
My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities available on-site.

Stunning spot for friends!
Had a blast with my friends here! The garden views were epic, and we soaked up the sun while having a drink. Millie was super helpful, making our stay feel special. Food was delish, especially the ham and eggs. Just a bit bummer that the beach was a short walk away and not right there.
